Israel continues its attacks against the Palestinians
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 10/13/2001

Clashes and protests continued in the occupied Palestinian territories. The cities of Ramullah, Nablus, al-Beera witnessed the strongest clashes. Confrontations were converted to demonstrations of protest with the Israeli forces by stones and explosives after which several Palestinian youths were wounded as the Israeli soldiers opened fire randomly on them.

The Israeli forces bombarded several Palestinian areas and houses in the region, while 25 Palestinians were wounded when the Israeli forces oppressed a " peaceful demonstration" headed towards the northern entrance of al-Beera city.

Three of the wounded Palestinians were admitted to Sheikh Zayed hospital in Ramullah city.

Sources at the Palestinian medical relief said that among the wounded were four Palestinian aids givers and a fifth young man Anam Ibrahim Qassis from Beit Laqia village, Ramullah who was hit by a rubber bullet at his hand.
