King Mohammed opens parliament fall session friday

Morocco's King Mohammed VI will open this Friday afternoon the Fall session of parliament, the first one in the fifth year of the current legislature, a joint release from the two chambers of the parliament said.
The king chairs the opening ceremony of the fall session on the second Friday of October as provided for in Article 40 of the Moroccan Constitution.
The Moroccan parliament comprises the House of Representatives, elected by direct universal suffrage, and the Chamber of advisors whose members are elected by colleges of professional chambers, local councils and trade unions.
