Straw denies Saudi Arabia's rejection to receive Blair

The British Foreign minister Jacque Straw on Thursday stressed that talks are being held currently on the possible visit to be held by the British prime minister Tony Blair to Saudi Arabia denying that Riyadh to have has opposed that. Straw told the BBC that the " Saudi government said clearly that it supports the visit of the prime minister, but as it is the case in these matters, the appropriate timing for the two sides should be set." Straw, thereby, denied the information which was attributed to a well-informed source in London that Saudi Arabia asked Blair to cancel his visit to al-Riyadh.
