African Trade Union organizations voiced support for Palestinian rights

The African Trade Union organizations have renewed their backing and complete support for the struggle of the Palestinian people and their legitimate right to establishing their own independent state with Jerusalem as a capital.
In a statement issued on Tuesday evening in Algiers in conclusion of works of its 24th session, these organizations underlined the importance of settling all international conflicts and issues according to international legitimacy resolutions and UN recommendations concerned.
These 30 African organizations called for organizing an international meeting that brings together regional and international trade union organizations to discuss several issues, foremost being international terrorism. The African organizations also invited world trade union organizations to take part effectively in the proposed meeting and to formulate measures necessary to withstand international terrorism and not to encourage acts and behavior which mix between Islam and terrorism.
