British Investments in Egypt unharmed

British ambassador to Egypt John Sawers said that the British investments and trade in Egypt were not affected by what has taken place in the world since the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington.
During his meeting with members of the Egyptian- British Businessmen Association, John Sawers said a number of British economic and trade missions visited Egypt after these events and did not make any change in their programs.
Sawers stressed that Britain was considered the first investor in Egypt at the time being and that his country was determined to keep this place within the coming phase.
Mohammed Farid, Chairman of the Egyptian-British Businessmen Association, underlined the importance of Egyptian -British trade cooperation and the growing investment activities in Egypt.
