Morocco's King Mohammed VI has sent messages to King Fahd of Saudi Arabia and to heir apparent Prince Abdallah ibn Abdelaziz, vice-president of the ministers' council and commander of the Saudi national guard.

The messages were handed over Tuesday by Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, to Prince Abdallah.

Benaissa conveyed Prince Abdallah the greetings and consideration of King Mohammed VI and his wishes of good health to the Saudi monarch, the heir apparent, and the Saudi royal family and wishes of prosperity and progress to the brotherly Saudi people.

Prince Abdallah on his part entrusted Benaissa with conveying to King Mohammed VI the Saudi monarch's greetings and his wishes of good health and happiness and of progress and stability to Morocco.

Benaissa also held separate meetings Tuesday in Riyadh with the second vice-president of the ministers' council and minister of defense and aviation, Prince Soltane Ibn Abdelaziz, and with governor of the Riyadh region, Prince Salmane ibn Abdelaziz.

Talks covered bilateral relations and the latest developments on the Arab, Islamic and international scenes.

Benaissa left Saudi Arabia later Tuesday, heading for Doha, Qatar, where he took part in the evening in a consultation meeting of Arab foreign ministers.

Benaissa is attending this Wednesday in Doha the emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).
