Mubarak stresses the implementation of international legitimacy resolutions

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has stressed the need of implementing international legitimacy resolutions especially UN resolutions 242 and 338 provided for Israel's withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories in Jerusalem, the Golan and the occupied Palestinian territories until June 4, 1967 border lines.
In statements he made in Cairo on Tuesday after he inaugurated " Mubarak- peace" bridge, the Egyptian President called on the US to shoulder its responsibilities as a main cosponsor for the Middle east peace process, by taking string and effective measures to solve the Palestinian question in line with the international legitimacy resolutions and the land for peace formula.
He stressed that the establishment of the independent Palestinian state is the only solution to attain security and stability to all peoples of the region. He added that when the US President announces his support for the right of the Palestinian people to establish their own independent state he fully meant that.
