Libya, Gabon to revitalize bilateral relations

Libya, and the Gabon Republic have stressed the seriousness of terrorism as a phenomenon and the need to abide by the agreement of the African Unity Organization to oppose and combat terrorism.
In a joint press statement issued in Tripoli on Monday evening in conclusion of the visit held by Gabon's foreign minister John Peing and members of the accompanying delegation to Libya, the two sides expressed their desire to revitalize their relations and cooperation in various economic, technical and cultural areas and revitalizing work activities of the joint committee in the coming phase.
The two sides stressed the need of accelerating the process of building various establishments and structures of the African federation and serious work to establish peace and security in the African continent.
