Egypt understands US response

Commenting on the US strikes on Afghanistan, President Hosni Mubarak political advisor Osama Al-Baz said that Egypt understands the US right to respond in case it has a hard evidence that Osama Bin Laden and his organisation A1 Gaeda are involved in the terrorist attacks against the US and that Afghanistan supports them.
However, A1 Baz voiced concern over the Afghan people pains and sufferings. The political advisor said that in the context of respecting all international laws, US reserves the right to respond. Al-Baz expressed hope that the strikes on would not affect the Afghanistan people who are innocent civilians.
