US embassy, school in Damascus closed

The US embassy and school in Damascus were closed on Monday with the aim of re-evaluating their security plans.
An official at the embassy said that the embassy and the school are closed for the purpose of re-evaluating their security measures and " we will decide later a date to re- open them."
