Sudanese national party to convene its general conference

The secretary general of the Sudanese national conference party Ahmad Ibrahim Omar said that the party will convene its general conference on October 17 and its deliberations will continue for three days.

Professor Ahmad Omar explained that 6,000 members of the party will take part in this conference which will be attended " by Arab and friendly delegations representing 22 parties, besides many dignitaries." Omar continued that the party's Shoura council will be held on October 15th, just two days before convening the conference, while the new Shoura council will be held on the 20th of this month to elect a new chairman for the Shoura council, his two deputies as well as the new secretary general for the national congress and 20 members of the office's leadership.
