British envoy confers with Israeli defense minister

The special envoy for the Israeli prime minister Michael Levy said that the British prime minister Tony Blair seeks to resume the negotiations on the Palestinian- Israeli track besides he is a friend to Israel.
On the other hand, the Israeli defense minister Benjamin Bin Aleazer accused during his meeting with the British envoy the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat of not putting an end to what he called terrorism, claiming that Israel is ready to achieve great strides for achieving peace, but under the condition that the Palestinian authority will suspend the activities of the Palestinian Intifada.
