UNESCO opens main regional center in UAE

The United Arab Emirates UAE and UNESCO have agreed to found and open a main regional center to store and preserve world heritage due to the available potentials within the UAE for this purpose. The agreement which was signed at the UNESCO premises in Paris, being the first of its kind in the region aims at preserving Arab and Islamic heritage and preserving " ancient civilizations" and training specialized UAE cadres on techniques of preserving this legacy and running its resources in a scientific way.
