Mubarak's efforts draw Palestinian praise

A Palestinian official yesterday praised President Hosni Mubarak's efforts to defend Palestinian and Arab rights. In an interview with the Cairo Radio, Saeb Erekat, the Palestinian minister of local administration, cited Mubarak's repeated warnings against Israel's continued attacks against the Palestinians. "President Mubarak is quite right in his view of the terrorism issue as he has urged the necessity of looking for causes of terrorism if it is to be radically addressed," he added.
