Al-Shara makes consultations with Lebanese peer on regional, international developments

A telephone call was made on Sunday between the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and his Lebanese peer Mahmoud Hammoud during which the two ministers reviewed latest developments on the regional and international arenas. Discussions also dealt with issues to be discussed at the Doha emergency conference of the OIC foreign ministers due to be held on October 10th.
Al-Shara also received later in the day, Bangladesh's new ambassador in Damascus Mutahhar Hussein who handed a copy of his credentials as an ambassador for his country to Syria.
Discussions dealt with bilateral relations and means of developing them.
