Jordanian King meets with the Syrian prime minister

King Abdullah II of Jordan on Sunday received at Beit al-Barakeh palace in Amman, the Syrian prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro. The meeting was attended by the Jordanian prime minister Ali Abu al-Ragheb.

The Syrian prime minister conveyed to the Jordanian King greetings and good wishes of President Bashar al-Assad to King Abdullah and the King asked Miro to convey his greetings and wishes to President al-Assad and the Syrian people.

Discussions dealt with latest developments on the regional and international arenas as well as means of developing cooperation between Syria and Jordan in all economic, trade and cultural fields for the interests of the two peoples and countries.

On Sunday afternoon, meetings of the Syrian- Jordanian joint higher committee started at the headquarters of the Jordanian cabinet under the chairmanship of Miro and Ali Abu al-Ragheb.
