King Mohammed meets Saudi vice-defense minister
Morocco-Saudi Arabia, Politics, 10/5/2001

Morocco's King Mohammed VI conferred on Thursday at the Royal palace of Marrakesh with Prince Abderrahmane Ibn Abdelaziz, Saudi vice-defense minister who was accompanied by his country's ambassador in Morocco, Abdelaziz Mohieddine Khouja.

The sovereign underscored the solid links binding him to "his brother," the custodian of the two holy mosques, King Fahd Ibn Abdelaziz, and the permanent consultation on issues interesting the two people, Arab and Islamic issues and latest international developments, particularly following the recent terrorist attacks against the USA and which have been condemned, without hesitation, since they run counter to principles of the tolerant religion of Islam and to human values.

The King said he will dispatch minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, as his special envoy to King Fahd Ibn Abdelaziz and to heir apparent, Prince Abdallah Ibn Abdelaziz.
