Al-Assad confers with Sudanese party delegation

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday at the Damascus al-Shaab palace received the secretary general of the Sudanese National Congress Ibrahim Ahmad Omar and members of the accompanying delegation.
The delegation is composed of Mahdi Ibrahim, the secretary of the foreign relations department and minister of information; Ismael al- Haj Mousa, member of the leading bureau and secretary of the cultural department; Nafe Ali Nafe ' minister of the federal rule; Ahmad Abdul Rahman, member of the general secretariat and secretary of the world people friendship council, Kamal Obeid member of the general secretariat and the chairman of the Arab department; Abdul Rahim Mohey eddine member of the general secretariat and the congress's general secretariat member Awad al-Karim Mousa.
The President got a message from the congress's secretary general, sent by the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al- Bashir.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the Baath party and the Sudanese National Congress party and the role played by the two parties to strengthening relations between the two countries in all fields.
They also reviewed current regional and international conditions and their implications on the Arab arena.
