Morocco attends meeting on peace in Mediterranean

Several Moroccan intellectuals are attending a Euro-Maghreb meeting on peace in the Mediterranean that opened Thursday in Madrid. The meeting, attended by writers and thinkers, seeks to foster the contribution of men of letters and politicians to fostering a climate of trust and understanding for a better future of relations between the Maghreb and Europe.
The two-day meeting is also a response to the terror attacks perpetrated last September 11 against the USA, organizers said.
