British minister: the Palestinians have suffered and deserve to live in peace

The British foreign minister Jacques Straw has stressed the need to proceed forward in order to establish peace in the Middle East region which has suffered a lot from terrorism, noting thereby to the suffering of the Palestinian people in the occupied Arab territories.

In a speech he delivered before the annual conference of the British ruling labor party in Briton, Straw said that the Palestinians had severe sufferings and they deserve to live in peace and security.

As for the international campaign to fighting terrorism, Straw stressed that there is no link between the Islamic religion, which he described as a great religion which gives up violence and between terrorism.

Straw stressed the need of proceeding efforts to exterminate international terrorism deeply from its roots.
