Bajmal: my government is provisional

The Yemeni prime minister Abdul Qader Bajmal said that his government will not last more than one and a half years as from now. He considered himself as a provisional prime minister for the current government which was formed following the local elections in Yemen on February 20 this year.
In a speech he delivered before the press and correspondents of foreign media upon opening the media center of the Yemeni ministry of the information, Bajmal added:" this government will proceed in the authority until the parliamentary elections which coincide with the local elections to be held in April 2004." He explained that the period set for this government is according to the Yemeni constitution.
