Sharon's request from Fischer

The Israeli Hebrew language radio said on Tuesday that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon asked the German foreign minister Yushka Fischer currently visiting Syria to release the Israeli detainees held by the Hizbullah.
The radio added that Sharon stressed to Fischer on the great possibilities for the success of his mission to this end especially as Syria is seeking to join the UN Security Council as a member.
