Finnish minister of foreign trade in Morocco

Finnish minister of foreign trade, Kimmo Sasi, arrived in Casablanca Sunday on a three day visit to Morocco, at the head of a delegation of industrialists. The Finnish official told reporters the visit is meant to give a new impetus to bilateral relations, that he described as "already very good." Talks, he said, will cover political, economic, educational and research-development fields.
Trade exchanges scored a noteworthy evolution in 2000, reaching 1.2 billion Dirhams (about $ 109 million) compared to 650.3 million in 1999. (nearly $60 million).
