Moroccan-Jordanian high joint commission meets in Amman end of October

The Moroccan-Jordanian high joint commission will meet in Amman on October 24 under the chairmanship of the two states' Prime Ministers, Abderrahmane Youssoufi and Ali Abou Ragheb.
Moroccan ambassador to Jordan, Mehdi Alaoui, who made the announcement in a statement to local daily Addoustour said experts will be meeting on October 22-23 to finalize the agenda of the commission session.
The session will look into several cooperation projects and will explore ways of enhancing economic and trade cooperation in light of accords binding the two countries. It will also sign several accords and executive programs on incentives to investments and cooperation in fiscal, media, tourism, cultural and maritime matters, the diplomat said.
The session will equally provide opportunity for political consultations between the two sides on issues of mutual concern, he said, adding the two countries are resolved to promote trade exchanges, enhance investments and energize the joint business council.
The High joint commission was set up in June 1998 in Rabat.
