US under secretary of state to tour the ME

The US under secretary of state for the ME affairs William Burns will start a tour by the beginning of next week in several countries of the ME that will last for two weeks.
The Lebanese daily al-Safir issued on Saturday said in a report from Washington quoting sources in the American capital as saying that the tour of the new American delegate to the region aims at mobilizing support for the American campaign against terrorism and to continue efforts to cease fire between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
