Saudi Arabia says it will not permit using its lands for attacking Afghanistan

A Saudi military source announced that Saudi Arabia will not permit its territories nor military bases to be the starting point for launching attacks against Afghanistan. The Saudi daily Okaz issued on Sunday quoted the source as denying what was stated by certain media establishments that Saudi Arabia will permit American planes to use " prince Sultan " air base in al-Riyadh to launch attacks against Afghanistan, noting that this is " totally untrue and mere media fabrication."
The same source indicated that there is no state of alert in the lines of the Saudi armed forces.
