Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak receives tomorrow Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi who is due to pay a one-day visit to Cairo. The Saudi oil minister Ali al-Nu'eimi has expected OPEC to reduce its oil production before its next meeting in the mid of November, if oil prices do not improve. In a statement to the press on Friday in Vienna, al-Nu'eimi said that OPEC's members do not feel content over the decrease of oil price to USD 21 or 22 for one barrel, rather they want the price to be around USD 25, noting that OPEC is committed to move to this direction.

The London- based al-Hayat daily on Friday said that Islamists sources in Kuwait said that the Kuwaiti state security men have recently started to summon tens of Kuwaitis who had earlier participated in " Jihad operations" in areas like Bosnia, Chechenea and Afghanistan and interrogated them for three or four hours for each of them, but not one of them was held in custody. The paper added that the security men put 40 of the interrogated persons on the list of " banned to leave the country."

Moroccan exports of textile and leather items were worth up to last July 17.8 Billion DH (US$ 1.5 million) which is an increase of 3.5% compared to the corresponding period (January-July) of last year. According to figures released by the Exchange office, the progression was mainly noted in the exports of clothes which grew by 5.9% and cotton cloths which were more than two times higher.
