Islam rejects bloody attacks of terrorism

Egyptian Minister of Awkaf (Endowments) Mahmoud Hamdi Zaqzouq said that Islam rejected absolutely the bloody attacks that had been launched against the USA .

He added that Egypt condemned any terrorist acts. This came within the context of his meeting with Austrian Foreign Minister Benita Ferrero-Waldner, and her accompanying delegation.

Zaqzouq pointed out that what had taken place was neither accepted by a reasonable man nor religion. He noted that killing an innocent man in Islam was like killing all mankind.

On the other hand, Waldner left Cairo Wednesday, winding up a two-day visit to Egypt during which she was received by President Hosni Mubarak.

Talks with the President dwelt on the latest developments on the Arab and international arenas.
