Butaflika gets a message from al-Qaddafi
Algeria-Libya, Politics, 9/25/2001

Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika on Sunday received a message from the Libyan President Mu'ammar al-Qaddafi relating to means of strengthening relations between the two states and consolidating consultation between the Arab states especially following the attacks recently targeted the US.

The message was handed over by the Libyan ambassador in Algiers Omar al-Hamidi during his meeting with Butaflika on Monday.

On the other hand, an Algerian official source stressed Algeria's readiness to support all initiatives that help to exterminate terrorism by all its forms and all forms of violence.

On the other hand, President Butaflika made on Sunday a telephone call with the Kuwaiti crown prince and deputy premier Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah during which he listened to assurances on the improved health condition of the ruler of Luwait Sheikh jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah.
