World clay shooting championships kicks off in Morocco

The 65th edition of the World Clay Shooting Championships kicked off Sunday in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.
Some 350 shooters from several countries are participating in the 17-day competition.
Participants will vie for several prizes featured during the tournament: The World championships (Mohammed VI Trophy), the Chairman Cup, the America Grand Prix (Princess Lalla Meriem Cup), The Europe Grand Prix (Princess Lalla Asmaa Cup) and the Africa Grand Prix (Princess Lalla Hasnaa Cup).
The 65th World championships crowns a series of events staged in several parts of the world by the World Clay Shooting body (FITASC).
The 64th World Championships, held last year in Andorra, was won by Spain's Fransisco Rosich.
