Bahrain denies arrival of US warplanes to its territories

Bahrain has denied the arrival of American warplanes to its territories in preparations for the operation to be carried out by Washington against terrorism, stressing that this very issue is still under discussions between Bahrain and the US.

The Bahraini minister of state for foreign affairs Muhammad Abdul Ghaffar said in statements broadcast by the Gulf News Agency on Sunday that the issue of sending American planes to Bahrain is still a matter of discussions in the frame of consultations and signed agreements between the two countries.

Abdul Ghaffar noted contacts that are being made between the government of Bahrain and the countries of the region with the US in order to adopt a united position concerning international terrorism.
