Khartoum explains measure against its plane by Ukraine authorities

A source at the Sudanese civil aviation commission has described the measure taken by the Ukraine's authorities in forcing a Sudanese plane to land in Kremia island in the Black Sea as an ordinary safety measure which does not bear any other dimension.
The source told the Sudanese daily al-Rai al-Am in its Sunday's issue that this measure is taken in all international airports in order to attain utmost safety.
However, the said plane, boarded by 8 persons was heading to Kiev for maintenance, but the license given to it to fly expired on Saturday and that is why the Ukraine's military planes intercepted it and forced it to land.
