Tunisia supports Egypt's call for anti-terrorism conference

Ali Ashawsy, Secretary-General of the ruling, party in Tunisia, said that Egypt and Tunisia were in the same trench and their goal was one, rejecting terrorism in all its forms. He concluded that he welcomed President Mubarak's call for holding an international anti-terrorism conference to protect the innocent and to establish peace worldwide.

He added that their leaderships gave the two presidents popularity at the level of peoples. He noted that the platforms of the two parties were clear at the level of the home and foreign policies.

In a meeting held yesterday between the youth of the NDP and those of the constitutional ruling party in Tunisia Shawsy said that the bilateral relations has been growing and developing the reason behind such growth, he added, was the two leaders belief in the necessity of achieving integration and boosting bilateral relations.

On his part, Nabih Al-Alqamy, NDP Youth Secretary, said that the meeting of the Egyptian Tunisian youth came within the protocol inked by Kamal Al-Shazli, NDP Assistant Secretary-General and Shawsy. He added that the youth had agreed on issuing recommendations and resolutions to boost bilateral cooperation.

He concluded that those recommendations would be referred to Youssef Wali, Secretary-General of the NDP, to be endorsed.
