Tunisian home minister meets head of Morocco's civil rescue
Tunisia-Morocco, Politics, 9/22/2001

Tunisian home minister, Abdallah Kaabi, has met in Tunis general manager of the Moroccan civil rescue, Col. Major Abdelkrim Yaacoubi, on cooperation relations between the two countries in fields of civil protection and prevention.

The Moroccan official's visit in Tunis is part of the agreement signed between the two Maghreban countries last year.

Recently, Algerian head of civil rescue had also visited Tunisia and reviewed with the Tunisian home minister cooperation in fighting forest fires and fires in industrial plants.

The three countries are, together with Libya and Mauritania, members of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA).
