Gulf trade ministers to meet on Monday

Trade ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states will hold a meeting in Manama for the economic and trade committee of the GCC member states.
The participants in the four-day meeting will discuss trade and economic topics and technical matters relating to united standards and specifications among the states, the legal auditors commission and inter trade exchange.
In its Friday's issue, the Saudi daily al-Watan said that during the meeting the participants will discuss trade issues between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates concerning the embargo imposed by the Saudi authorities on the UAE meats and fisheries, as well as the question of cars exported to Saudi Arabia.
However, in the mid of March this year, the Saudi ministry of commerce banned the imports of meat from the UAE following the spread of the " foot and mouth disease." Also by the end of April this year, the Saudi same ministry banned the entry of cars from the UAE, whose ( steering wheel ) is to the right and attributed that decision to avert risks might results from driving such cars.
