Algeria, Politics, 9/21/2001

The central committee of the Algerian National Liberation Front party has elected Ali Bin Flis, the prime minister as a new secretary general for the party in succession to Bu'laam Bin Hammoudeh.

However, political figures on the Lebanese arena said that Bin Flis has vast relations with most Algerian political parties leaders and he is also supported by the majority of members of the political bureau and the central committee of the Algerian National Liberation Front party and that he has also good relations with various party cadres and he is fully acquainted with the country's political and economic files. A matter which will enable him to formulate a new program for the party in order to eliminate the crisis Algeria has been witnessing.
