Al-Assad confers with Lebanese deputy prime minister

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday at al-Rawdah palace received the Lebanese deputy prime minister. Discussions dealt with latest developments in the region and certain issues of concern to the two countries, Syria and Lebanon.
