King Mohammed VI Appoints New Interior Minister

Morocco's King Mohammed appointed this Wednesday Driss Jettou interior minister, in replacement of Ahmed El Midaoui, MAP reported. El Midaoui, who became interior minister in November 1999, was appointed advisor to the King.
Jettou had served as finance minister, trade, industry and handicraft minister, before being appointed last August Chief-Executive officer of the Phosphates Office (Office Cherifien des Phosphates).
