Meantime Egyptian officials expressed condolences at the US Embassy in Cairo.

Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa al Refaie and Head of Administrative Monitoring Authority visited the US Embassy for condolences.

Secretary General of the National Council for women, Ferkhunda Hassan expressed her sympathy with the American families in their ordeal.

Furthermore, Egyptian children Tuesday asserted resentment at the terrorist acts that contradict with all religions and international law.

This came during a visit by a delegation representing Egyptian children to the U.S. embassy in Cairo to extend condolences on the tragic events in the United States and the killing of thousands of innocent victims.

The delegation, accompanied by Secretary General of the National council for Childhood and Motherhood Moushira Khattab, was welcomed by U.S. Ambassador David Welch.

The Egyptian children reiterated that the international community should strongly stand against terrorism, Khattab said, pointing out that President Hosni Mubarak was the first to pay the attention of the international community to the danger of such phenomenon and called for holding an international anti-terrorism conference.
