US donation to Jordan of $ 50 million

Jordan and the US on Tuesday signed a donation agreement according to which the US will give Jordan a sum of $ 50 million to support the Jordanian payment balance for the current year.
Representing the Jordanian side the agreement was signed by the minister of planning Jawad Hadid and on the US side by the US ambassador to Jordan Edward Ghneim.
Jordanian official economic sources said that this donation is the last of the American aids for this year of a total sum of $ 150 million that intends to alleviate the public foreign debts of Jordan.
