News on Israeli withdrawal from Palestinians territories, ceasing fire

News reports from the Palestinian territories said that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon gave his instructions to the Israeli army to halt all its military activities inside the Palestinian territories.

The Israeli radio said that these instructions were issued after the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat announced a cease-fire.

The Israeli radio said that Amri Sharon, son of the Israeli prime minister and the director general of the Israeli foreign ministry Afi Geil met with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority.

Well-informed Palestinian sources said that Amri and Geil explained to Arafat the proposal made by Sharon to the Israeli Knesset concerning the cease- fire by the Palestinian side for 48 hours, during which the Israeli side vows to cease all military activities in the Palestinian territories.

Political sources in Jerusalem said the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres was a full partner in preparing for the said meeting.

Meantime, the Israeli army announced it has been pulling out its forces from all areas under the Palestinians self- rule area which were re-occupied during the recent weeks.

A spokesman for the Israeli army said in a statement that its forces deployed in areas "A" under the complete control of the Palestinian authority will evacuate these areas completely.

The media advisor for the Israeli defense minister Benjamin Bin Aliazer said that the latter ( Bin Aliazer) ordered the Israeli forces whether it is possible to arrange a meeting between Palestinian and Israeli security officials.

The advisor noted that the Israeli army is waiting for the Palestinian reply to Bin Aleazer proposal.

On Tuesday, the Israeli forces bombarded several positions in Gaza's port after the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat has announced the cease fire and the Israeli forces destroyed completely these positions and other positions in Gaza where it had incurred for 700 meters.

Two Palestinian youths were killed on Tuesday and four other wounded as the Israeli forces bombarded the Palestinian houses in Hebron and Bazaryah district in Nablus.

Palestinian medical sources said that Mutaz Daghlas was hit by a fatal bullet fired by the Israeli army in Bazaryah town in Nablus and the Israeli forces refused to hand his body over to his family while the second Palestinian youth was a driver from Halhoul town, near hebron.
