Namibian premier holds series of talks in Rabat

Visiting Namibian premier, Hage Geingor, reviewed in Rabat on Monday with prime minister, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, the need for a legal framework to foster fruitful cooperation between the two African countries.
The two officials surveyed African development issues, conflicts in the continent and decided to promote communication at the political, social, cultural and media levels.
On the same day, the head of the Namibian government also met separately with speakers of the two parliamentary chambers, the house of representatives and the chamber of advisors. Talks covered the need to increase cooperation and overcome obstacles on the way of relations between the two countries.
The Namibian premier, who chairs the African civil service ministers conference, also met minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa over a projected framework-agreement regulating cooperation fields between the two country, particularly in sea fisheries and mining, said Benaissa.
Upon arrival Saturday to Morocco on a five-day work visit, the head of the Namibian government said the visit if part of drives to boost the African civil service charter, approved by the third conference of African civil service ministers held in Windhoek, Namibia.
