Egypt's exports to EU up by 5.5% in three months

The Egyptian exports to the European Union increased by 5.5 % in the first three months of this year despite the fluctuation of the global foreign trade rates. "The total exports worth 3.4 billion euro in 2000 against 2.2 billion euro in 1999 with an increase rate of 41%," said Egypt's head of the trade office in Brussels.
He added that these figures are issued at the EU's premises, and it is considered a positive sign "we" have to keep its continuity.
