Israeli officials and the campaign against Islam

The Israeli minister of the Interior Ozi Landao has admitted that Israel has exerted great efforts to convince the Americans and the Europeans on the need to fight what he called " extremist Islam."

In an interview with the Hebrew - language Israeli radio on Sunday, Landao added that if the US will be persistent to include the Palestinian Authority and other Islamic states to the international alliance against terrorism, this will result in wasting the Israeli efforts.

On the other hand, the chairman of the political and security ministerial team at the former Israeli government Dany Yatoum admitted that Israel could in the former years from convincing the American and European public opinion of what he called the " terrorist attitude in the Islamic doctrine," a matter which pushed the Americans and the Europeans to consider terrorism as an integral part and part and parcel from the Islamic doctrine.
