On Arafat's visit to Damascus

In its recent issue the " al-Hayat al-Jadida" ( new life) magazine in its recent issue, published in the West Bank quoted the Palestinian local rule official at the Palestinian authority Saeb Oreikat as saying that the expected visit of the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat to Syria will be made in the very near future.
Oreikat indicated that no final date was set for this visit which has been postponed because of the recent incidents took place in the USA.
