No threats against US nationals, interests in Egypt

The US embassy in Cairo Thursday re-emphasized that there are no threats of risks against the American nationals and interests in Egypt.
In a statement to the American nationals in Egypt, the embassy called on the US citizens in Egypt to be cautions during the weekend, clarifying that it will resume full work on Sunday.
The statement said that reports coming from Washington had indicated that the American administration was waiting for a decision on resuming the regular fights to and from the US.
The Jesuitical Department set up a unit to respond to queries Y by families of the victim of the recent attacks in the United States and also set up a website for the same purpose, added the statement.
The statement said that the Maadi-based Cairo American College (CAC) had informed the embassy that it will resume work on Sunday.
The American ambassador to Egypt David Welch will receive on September-18 and 19 in Cairo and Alexandria the US nationals in Egypt to probe with them the latest developments in the wake of Tuesday's attacks in New York and Washington.
