Mubarak expressed Egypt's readiness to offer US with all assistance

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and US President George W. Bush Thursday underlined the necessity of taking firm international action against all forms of terrorism.
This came during a phone contact which Mubarak got from Bush, Mubarak renewed Egypt's condemnation of the terrorist attacks against some sites in New York and Washington.
He expressed Egypt's deep condolences for the victims of the terrorist attacks.
Bush expressed appreciation of the stance of President Mubarak and the Egyptian people in their condemnation of terrorism and rejection of all forms of aggression on innocent people.
Bush alluded to statements he made in which he called for respecting the Muslim community in the United States as Islam is a religion promoting and abhorring bloodshed.
The two presidents also exchanged views over a number of issues of mutual interest. In a message following the attacks, Mubarak expressed Egypt's readiness to offer US with all assistance.
He also received a phone contact from German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder on the attacks in the US.
During the telephone conversation, the Egyptian leader highlighted the importance of international cooperation against terrorism as being a threat to world peace and security.
