Palestinian statement on Israeli practices

The Palestinian authority has stressed that Israel is exploiting the world's preoccupation in the attacks against the US in order to escalate its aggressive practices by all sorts of weapons against the unarmed Palestinian people.

In a statement, following its meeting on Thursday evening, the Palestinian Authority said that the Israeli forces enlarged the scale of its attacks against the Palestinian cities and destroyed more buildings and this resulted in killing or wounding more Palestinians.

The statement stressed that while the Palestinian authority has stressed its response with the international efforts to implement international legitimacy resolutions and the Mitchell report package, it ( the PA) has warned that the Israeli government deliberately refused these efforts and rather calls for launching a comprehensive military campaign against the Palestinians.
