Maksoud and the definition of terrorism

The chairman of the South world center at the American University in Washington Dr. Klovis Maksoud who is also the former Arab league representative at the UN said that the Arabs should take part in the definition of terrorism and in defining it, and challenging the continued Israeli attempts to perpetuate the Israeli definition of terrorism which considers resisting occupation as terrorism.

In a statement he made on Friday to the BBC, Maksoud added that there should not be misunderstanding between re-considering the US policy concerning the Middle East and between the need to maintain solidarity with the American people at the current time, so as the Arabs would seem that they are responsible for what happened in the US.
