No fears for Americans in Lebanon

The American ambassador in Beirut Vincint Battale said that there are no fears on the Americans in Lebanon and that the American embassy works the same way it used to work in the past.

In a statement he made on Thursday following his meeting with the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri, the American ambassador said that the American citizens are safe and in peace and continue their works normally, noting that the same situation is the same in other American embassies in the region.

The American ambassador stressed that friendship relations are linking his country with all Arab states which expressed its sadness over the victims and solidarity with the US.

He continued that time is very difficult in the USA and for people in the world towards the crisis " our country was exposed," adding that " as a state we try to contain this crisis."
